24&25/5/12 GBR trip: Mum & daughter's adventure
We had a mother and daughter here on board for diving and snorkeling.
The mum's request was to see big, wild creatures. We spotted Seaturtle, Shark, Giant Trevally and Maori Wrasse etc... She tried her first night dive as well.

While the mum was diving, the 7 year old girl was snorkelong on the shallow reef. She mastered how to use snorkel gear quickly and kept swimming until the sunset.

Another diver with Grean Seaturtle

Orectolobus maculatus/Spotted wobbegong - swimming in a fish school maybe because the cloud was above the reef. After a little while, it settled down on the bottom, so the divers could shoot photoes of it.

Many-spotted Sweetlips - unusual to make a group like this in the Great Barrier Reef.

A school of Yellowbanded Sweetlips

Barramundi Cod - about 1 m long, he had a huge scratch mark on his stomach.

Caesio caerulaurea/Blue and Gold Fusilier

Dendrochirus zebra /Zebra lionfish (juv.)

If you have a mix team which consists divers and snorkelers, our overnight cruise must be a good idea to share the adventure as we stay long time around the reef. Divers have time to do snorkeling as well and your non-diver companies can try a free introductory dive (subject to the age and health requirements).
Come and experience our adventure and incredible nature in the Great Barrier reef.
